Realme 11 Pro
Overview
Realme 11 Pro is a very stylish smartphone with an excellent in-hand feeling at a reasonable price and we are talking only in terms of design at this point. It comes in three different colors: Astral Black, Sunrise Beige, Oasis Green from which the black color has plastic back and the other two have leather back. We assume it’s not real leather and perhaps one of those eco leathers. The design looks very similar, in fact almost the same as the Realme 11 Pro+ model. So, you are getting a more premium vibe at a lower budget. The screen is also curved. However, a screen protection and an IP rated dust or splash resistance are missing. This may turn down a few users.
The phone comes with a fine 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. Surprisingly, it also has HDR10+ support, which is quite rare for this cost. 950 nits peak brightness is great. Overall, we are pretty satisfied with the screen quality. The camera on the back has a 100+2 MP setup (main camera plus a depth sensor). Yes, we are missing an ultrawide lens as well. But not a lot of people need it, so we can pass on that. From the photo samples that we have seen, the camera is not recommended. The images don’t look well-processed. There is also a lack of consistency. You get a bit of a color boost, but that’s all. There is OIS for 4K recording but it’s not that stable. You’ll get good stabilization with gyro-EIS for 1080p recording. The 16 MP selfie camera produces smooth skin tone and lacks dynamic range. These are still okay ish cameras, but at this price, you’ll surely get better deals.
A 5000 mAh battery is there for over 24 hours backup with a single charge for regular handling. You can anticipate around 6 to 7 hours of SoT. The charging time is around 45 minutes with the 67W charger. There is a fairly decent MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and 8 or 12 GB RAM for smooth gaming and multitasking. It also supports 5G network connectivity. The phone heats up very little for longer usage without any interruption. But overall there isn’t any overheating issue here. One issue is that there are a lot of pre-installed apps and ads in the UI and we didn’t like it at all. Realme promised OS upgrades till Android 15 as well as three years of security patches. The gadget contains Dolby Atmos sound, dual stereo speakers sound and an in-display fingerprint sensor, UFS 3.1 storage, which are some of its other premium features.
